In the early eighties, after a photography course at the International Center of Photography in New York, I began my professional experience in Rome as an assistant in the studio of the art photographer Araldo De Luca.
In 1987 I founded studio idini fotografia where I continue to specialize in the documentation of the artistic heritage: museums, archives, libraries, art galleries, monuments, archaeological excavations, restorations.
In 1996 some officials of the Municipal Museums, in an inspection in the ex Centrale Elettrica Montemartini, had to verify the possibility of transferring a selection of the archaeological collection of the Musei Capitolini
They call me to create a photographic documentation, the former power plant fascinates me and since then I have started an exciting photographic campaign on industrial archeology and on the anthropization and transformation of the landscape, persistent and central themes in my research.
The interest in architecture, for the external space in which it is located, for the internal space that it defines, arises from photographing art exhibitions, where I am induced to further reflection on the relationship between the works and the delimited space.
studio idini fotografia, from the experience of collaboration with some companies, elaborates the idea of building a photographic story of their activities, aimed at supporting visibility and interaction with potential customers.
In over thirty years of history, studio idini fotografia has collaborated, and still collaborates, with prestigious cultural institutions such as La Galleria Nazionale (formerly GNAM), Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Scuderie del Quirinale and Musei Vaticani.
