The proposed images are a selection of my work created during a photography workshop with Guido Guidi, exhibited in a group exhibition at the MIT of Morciano, in the Rimini’s province.

The workshop has followed three objectives:

• Promote and strengthen the goals of the Valconca, such as “the permanent workshop for contemporary art,” which invests in the education and in the artistic production of young people and working professionals in the local territory;
• Trigger processes of contamination between contemporary photography and landscape representations;
• Encourage dialogue and exchange between local and international experiences.

The workshop investigated the transformations of Valconca landscape with particular attention to the elements, places and spaces in search of new uses and functions, in respect to the following three themes :

• The urban landscape of the malatestiani historical centers with a special focus on the urban entrances as well as to social places and meeting centers of the local community.
• The landscape of mobility of the valley country road (that links the coast to the back country and along which there are small areas that are suburban, productive, agricultural and commercial) and the main roads that connect different historic centers (alternating between farms and small hamlets).
• The natural and cultural landscape of the trail network of the Grande Anello Verde del Conca, a circuit of signposted paths from C.A.I., mostly dirt roads, which goes across agricultural fields, forests, grottoes, quarries, badlands and waterways connecting the historical centers with principal hamlets.
